Advantages︰¡ñ Brief Introduction
Chlorinated polyethylene is called "CPE" for short. It is made from high-density polyethylene and chlorine. Its appearance is white powder.


¡ñ Properties of CPE
1.Good anti-ageing property and excellent weatherability. It could be used under harsh climate and environment, and it is fully resistant to ozone.

2.Good anti-combustion. No self-ignition.

3. Good low-temperature flexibility. It could remain flexible under -20¡æ.It may be used as impact modifier in UPVC product.

4.Excellent endurance to chemicals. It is inert to many chemical reagents, and corrosion-resistant to various acids and alkalis.

5.Good processing ability. It's easy to be shaped.

6. Extremely safe for operation. CPE is harmless to human body and the environment.

7. Excellent stability.

¡ñ Main uses
CPE has a dual property of plastics and rubber, so it is quite compatible with both of them. CPE is mostly used with plastics or rubber except that little is used as base materials. When used with plastics, it acts as modifier. CPE is mainly used as impact modifier in UPVC products, to improve impact strength and low-temperature property. As modifier. CPE could be used with rubber to improve its properties, such as anti-combustion, insulation and anti-ageing.
